HOME PAGE2006 BALLOT STATEMENTCONTACT ME ENDORSEMENTS

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I grew up in Antioch and went to school here. My community involvement includes being a member of the Antioch City Council, the Antioch Music Foundation, the City Park Community Playground Project and preserving Antioch's historical sites, including the Black Diamond Mines and the Chinese Tunnels in Old Rivertown Business District.

My parents taught me the value of hard work. With their help and encouragement, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics from Stanford University.

I believe that America's greatest leaders were also America's greatest listeners. If you call me at my home, I will listen - (925) 778-1573.

As a member of the Antioch City Council, Manny supported Slatten Ranch and other business developments that provided jobs and which built Antioch’s business tax base that allowed us to hire more police. He supported the current two-year moratorium on growth that stops new homes from being built.

He also helped in the lobbying effort for congressional approval of $37 million for Highway 4.
